Chicago Commons 2019 “graduates” are ready to start kindergarten with all the tools they need to succeed! Our end-of-the year celebrations are underway, where each graduate receives a backpack filled with school supplies.
Many thanks to Peoples Gas and HSA Commercial Real Estate for participating in your backpack and school supply drive again this year, helping ensure that our Commons graduates are prepared to start kindergarten in style, with all of the back-to-school essentials. This year, we received a record number 300 backpacks and 1,500 school supplies for our soon-to-be kindergartners at our four early education centers! A special thank you to Chicago Commons Emerging Leaders Council, Sharon Moy, Allison Millerick, board member Bob Smietana, and our volunteers for helping with this backpack drive. We appreciate your continued support!
